George Ward Tjungarrayi
George Ward was born c 1945 at Kiwirrkurra W.A. His language is Pintupi. George commenced painting for the Papunya Tula Artists in about 1976. He spent considerable time at several of the outstations near his homeland including Walungurru ( Kintore ) and the Mt. Leibig region known as Yamunturrngu.
