Galya Pwerle
Galya Pwerle’s country is Atnwengerrp and her language is Anmatyerre and Alyawarr.
She is the blood sister of Minnie, Emily, and Molly Pwerle.Galya Pwerle, along with sisters Emily and Molly, began painting in 2004, in a workshop arranged by well known artist and relative Barbara Weir. While Galya has not been painting as long her older sister, Minnie Pwerle, who began painting in the eighties, she has developed her own unique, contempory style and interpretation of her dreaming.
